PixEdit 8 - Raster Vectorisation to DXF format

PixEdit Document Scanning Software

PixEdit has an Automatic Raster to Vector Conversion tool. This quickly converts monochrome TIFF and PDF files to a Vector DXF format, which in turn can be imported into most CAD systems.

Vectorisation is the conversion of scanned drawings from a raster bitmap format to a vector XY coordinate format, which is used within CAD systems.

Pixedit does not give the user the ability to edit the vector files though we would suggest that the original TIF/PDF scan is cleaned up, despeckled, cropped, deskewed etc before it is vectorised, this can be easily performed in PixEdit.
